By using this site you agree to what follows. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the service.
What this service is
A free, independent directory of family doctors in Ontario and whether they are taking new patients. It is not a government service, not a clinic, and not affiliated with any health system, hospital, or medical organisation.
Not medical advice
Nothing here is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using this site creates no clinician–patient relationship. Never delay seeking care because of something you read here. If you need care now, call Health Connect Ontario at 811. In an emergency call 911.
Accuracy, and its limits
Every status comes from a person contacting the clinic, and each listing shows the date it was checked. Clinics fill up without telling anyone, so a status can be wrong the day after it was confirmed. Always call the clinic before you travel. We provide this information as it is, and do not warrant that it is complete, current, or error-free.
No endorsement
A clinic appearing here is not a recommendation, and the order results appear in is not a ranking of quality. We are not paid by clinics, we accept no advertising, and no clinic can pay to appear, to rank higher, or to be removed.
Your account and your reports
Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what is done through your account. Report only what a clinic actually told you. Submitting reports you know to be false, automating submissions, or trying to move a clinic up or down for your own benefit is a misuse of the service, and we may suspend an account for it. No single report changes a listing on its own — reports are weighed against each other and against the last confirmed contact.
If you work at a clinic
You may ask for control of your clinic’s listing. We verify requests by calling the number the clinic publishes, and we may refuse or withdraw access. Once approved, you are responsible for keeping your status accurate. Tell us to stop contacting you and we will, and we will record that so nobody calls again.
We email you only what you asked for: a sign-in link you requested, a reply to your enquiry, or notifications you signed up for. Every notification carries an unsubscribe link that ends them immediately and deletes the signup. We send no marketing email, as required by Canada’s anti-spam legislation.
Content and reuse
Clinic names, addresses and phone numbers are facts and come from public sources. The site itself — its text, design and code — belongs to us. You may link to the service and use it to find care. Please do not scrape it, resell it, or republish it wholesale; ask instead, and we are likely to say yes.
Liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it — including a clinic that turned out not to be accepting patients, a listing that was out of date, or the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow such exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. The service is intended for people in Ontario.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
